Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Salary: ₦400,000 monthly

Anthrop Management Limited is recruiting for its client, a technology group operating multiple businesses across EdTech, Cybersecurity, Immigration Technology, Career Technology and Financial Services.

Job Summary

The Social Media Manager (X/Twitter) will manage the organisation’s corporate brands and executive presence on X. The successful candidate will build audience engagement, thought leadership, brand authority, qualified conversations and commercial opportunities through strategic content.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute X/Twitter growth strategies across multiple accounts.
  • Create high-quality daily content, including educational threads, commentary, promotional campaigns, real-time posts and thought-leadership content.
  • Develop monthly content calendars aligned with campaigns, launches, trends and business priorities.
  • Design graphics, quote cards, infographics and branded visual assets.
  • Grow followers, impressions, engagement, website traffic and qualified leads.
  • Monitor platform analytics, audience behaviour, trends and relevant conversations.
  • Identify opportunities for real-time engagement and brand participation.
  • Position corporate and executive accounts as credible industry authorities.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Media, Product, Sales and Leadership teams.
  • Use content and community engagement to support customer acquisition and revenue growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, Digital Marketing, Business or a related field.
  • Minimum of three years’ experience managing and growing X/Twitter accounts.
  • Strong understanding of X/Twitter content strategy, audience growth and analytics.
  • Proven ability to create engaging posts, threads and thought-leadership content.
  • Strong copywriting, storytelling and community-engagement skills.
  • Ability to design graphics using Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator or similar tools.
  • Experience developing and managing monthly content calendars.
  • Ability to monitor trends and respond quickly to relevant conversations.
  • Experience managing educational or technology brands is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted content workflows is desirable.
